জিয়াউর রহমান হত্যাকান্ডের বিচার আজও হয়নি কেন

কথায় আছে, তুমি অপরের জন্য যে গর্ত করবে, একদিন তোমার ওই নোংরা চিন্তা ভাবনার গর্তেই তোমাকে পড়ে মরতে হবে। আর ইতিহাস পর্যালোচনা করলে এটাই প্রতীয়মান হয়। জিয়াউর রহমান এদেশের একজন সামরিক কর্মকতা ছিলেন। তার জীবদ্দশায় পাকিস্তানের পক্ষেই তিনি কাজ করেছেন। জিয়াউর রহমানের জীবনী নিয়ে স্টাডি করলে কিংবা তার রাজনৈতিক অবস্থান নিয়ে পর্যালোচনা করলে রহস্যময় তথ্য-উপাত্ত বেরিয়ে আসে। জিয়াউর রহমানের মুক্তিযুদ্ধের পটভূমি নিয়েও আছে বিতর্ক। তার খুব ঘনিষ্ঠজনরাই বলেছে, জিয়াউর রহমান মুক্তিযোদ্ধা হওয়ার ভান করলেও সে মূলত ছিল পাকিস্তানপন্থী। এমনকি, জিয়াউর রহমানের রাজনৈতিক অবস্থান নিয়ে পর্যালোচনা করলে তার সত্যতাই বের হয়ে আসে। আর ইতিহাস পর্যালোচনা করলে দেখা যায়, জিয়াউর রহমানের প্রত্যক্ষ এবং পরোক্ষ মদদে ১৯৭৫ সালের ১৫ আগস্ট জাতির পিতা বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমানকে সপরিবারে নির্মমভাবে হত্যা করা হয়। আবার ৩ নভেম্বর থেকে ৭ নভেম্বর নিয়ে পর্যালোচনা করলে, মার্কিন রাষ্ট্রদূতের তার সরকারের কাছে প্রেরিত বার্তাগুলো স্টাডি করলে এটি আরও স্পষ্ট হয়। আর মুক্তিযুদ্ধের অন্যতম সেক্টর কমান্ডার খালেদ মোশাররফসহ মুক্তিযুদ্ধের পক্ষের পাঁচ হাজার সেনাকর্মকর্তাকে বিভিন্ন কায়দায় নির্মমভাবে হত্যার মূল হোতাও এই জিয়াউর রহমান। বাঙালি জাতি কখনো ভুলবে না ইনডেমনিটি অধ্যাদেশ নামক কালো আইনের কথা। যে আইন দ্বারা বঙ্গবন্ধুর খুনীদের বিচারের কাজ বন্ধ করা হয়েছিল। যে আইন দ্বারা হত্যাকে রাষ্ট্রীয়ভাবে স্বীকৃতি দিয়েছিল জিয়াউর রহমান। হত্যা করা হবে, কিন্তু হত্যার বিচার হবে না-জিয়াউর রহমানের এই নীতি খালেদা-তারেক জিয়াও জিয়াউর রহমানের ক্ষেত্রে আজও বজায় রেখেছে। যেমন, ১৯৮১ সালে ১লা জুন জিয়াউর রহমান হত্যার অভিযোগে চট্টগ্রাম কোতয়ালী থানায় মামলা দায়ের করা হলেও ২০০১ সালে খালেদা জিয়া ক্ষমতায় এসে ওই মামলার কার্যক্রম বন্ধ করে দিয়েছে। কিন্তু কেন..? ঐ যে, আম গাছে জাম ধরে না, আমই ধরে। জিয়া যেমন, তারেক জিয়াও তেমন। বাবা হত্যার বিচারের কোনো ব্যবস্থা না করে বরং মা খালেদা জিয়ার সিদ্ধান্তই মেনে নিয়েছে তারেক জিয়া। আর একেই বলে, যে গর্ত অপরের জন্য খুড়েছ, সেই গর্তেই তুমি একদিন পড়ে পঁচে-গলে মরবে। আর তাই হয়েছে। জিয়াউর রহমান হত্যাকান্ডের বিচার আজও হয়নি। As the saying goes, the hole you make for others, one day you will fall into that dirty thought hole and die. For example, a case was filed with the Chittagong Kotwali Police Station on June 1, 1981 for the murder of Ziaur Rahman, but Khaleda Zia came to power in 2001 and stopped the proceedings. But why…? That mango tree does not hold berries, it holds mangoes. Like Zia, so is Tareq Zia. Tareq Zia has accepted the decision of his mother Khaleda Zia without taking any action for his father's murder. And the same thing says, the hole you dug for others, you will one day fall into that hole and rot and die. And so it has been. The trial of Ziaur Rahman's murder has not taken place even today.
